Enter a target weight to see which plates go on each side of the bar. Plates use standard sizes: 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, 2.5, and 1.25 kg, or 45, 25, 10, 5, and 2.5 lb.

How plates are chosen

The calculator subtracts the bar (and collars, if selected), splits the rest evenly between both sides, and fills each side with the largest plates first. If the target cannot be built exactly, it shows the closest lower load.
